Trivia[]
- "Barbrab" comes from the words "barb" and an altered version of "rub."
- "Tharapick" comes from a word similar-sounding to "snare," and the word "pick." ("to poke and pull at something" or "heavy tool consisting of an iron or steel head, usually curved, tapering to a point at one or both ends, mounted on a wooden handle, and used for loosening and breaking up soil")
- Sir_REX's concept for Tharapick was vastly different from his original concept (which he felt was lacking in originality and inspiration), and for that reason, Tharapick is one of his personal favorite Nornova Pokemon.
- Without the ability Shield, Tharapick only has a maximum of 324 HP. However, with the ability, it increases to a maximum of 486, effectively giving it a base HP of approximately 140.
